The Dahmers is a band who don’t like boundaries or restrictions. They want to do things their own way and see rock’n’roll as an animal not meant to be tamed. They were formed in Bromölla, Sweden, in 2011 at a wild Halloween party. They met at a garage the day after hungover as fuck and wrote their five first songs. Now, six years later, this is their brand new album “In The Dead Of Night”.
The album comes with thirteen tracks. The first track is an intro that sets the horror mood for what is yet to come on this album. Or is it not? The music on this album is rather happy sounding than the intro did. The lyrics on the other hand, are telling a quite tragic and sometimes even horrifying story. But this makes this album “In The Dead Of Night” by The Dahmers so interesting. Nothing is as it seems. Or sounds. But it will get you for sure.
“In The Dead Of Night” is an entertaining album filled with catchy rhythms and melodies but terrifying lyrics. A perfect album for Halloween. Give it a listen and see how you like it. “In The Dead Of Night” is out now.
