Destined to wreak havoc upon the expectations of the listener and ready to fuck with any given scene regulation, Malmö, Sweden is proud over its new misbehaving trouble-kid: Lawgiver. Effortlessly tougher than those who spend half their band energy on trying to be tough, spontaneously combining everything and nothing into a new breed of fight-music where contradictions are allowed to work freely as driving forces instead of anxiously being polished off to create an image: Lawgiver serves us cross-over like we never heard before.
This is their latest and self-titled release. Lawgiver packed five songs onto their release. The EP begins with a drum part that sounds like the end of an energetic and powerful song or show. So basically this release is beginning with the end. After this part has ceased, the harsh and rough music sets in. Somewhere between metal, punk and dirty rock and roll, Lawgiver is claiming the territory for the “Lawgiver” EP. It surely is an interesting piece and filled with a lot of energy and power. Some that will infect you while listening.
“Lawgiver” is coming with five songs. That is lasting only seventeen minutes. Grab this short piece of havoc and make it yours.
