I Might Be Wrong is an indie band from Berlin founded in 2004. They now released their second studio album “Circle The Yes”.
The music sounds like Brit Pop, reminding of Katy Perry. This kind of music seems to be very popular at the moment and therefore is quite mainstream. For the time at least. But that will pass as well.
The songs and melodies are getting stuck in your head easily. The catchy melodies follow you beyond the actual listening to the album. The choruses are easy to sing along. The female singer has a somewhat soft voice and a very British accent. You can hear an outstanding fret changing on “A Propos”. The songs are very easy going and independent, a nice album to listen to when you need to clear your mind. Some melodies and rhythms are quite indie. Unfortunately the music is missing something that would make you listen to it active. The album more drifts off to being background music.
The album cover artwork shows a labyrinth pool above a beach. The colors are quite greyish dark. You can find many details if you take a close look on it.
