Supports: Supercharger; Venue: Zoom, Frankfurt (Germany)

A weeknight out in the city. Zoom was the place to be.

SuperchargerThe bands playing was the Danish rock band Supercharger and the Swedish sleaze band H.E.A.T. As the venue was filling up slowly Supercharger headed on stage to share their rock’n’roll music with us. Even though the venue was only half way filled with guests, they all rocked along to the music. Supercharger gave everything to get the audience to go along, and they succeeded. Talking to the audience in between the songs, being absolutely thankful for the clapping after each songs, telling stories, all this made the band seem extremely humble. The five piece moved around as much as they could on the little stage and the singer was singing his mind out.

For one song the bass player took over. The songs were catchy and meant to sing and clap along to. You could tell Supercharger don’t have routine in being on stage, but that sure was a positive thing as they were totally excited and made everyone feel special to be there. A band you should definitely check out. Especially if you like great rock’n’roll music.

HEATUp next was the Swedish sleaze rock band H.E.A.T. H.E.A.T is a Swedish glam metal band formed in Upplands Väsby in 2007, when the bands Dream and Trading Fate merged. By now the venue was much more crowded and the fans were all excited to see the Swedish guys. They entered the stage with quite some smoke and loud cheering from the audience before they began with their music.

The audience seemed to know all lyrics by heart. Whether it was the new songs or older ones. The singer rocked his mind out, constantly moving around, shouting and sweating into the crowd, playing with his fans. His fellow band members shook their curls and banged their heads while rocking out on their instruments.

The music reminded of 80s hairspray metal such as Bon Jovi, Europe and such. Watching H.E.A.T on stage felt like being transported back in time. It was a great night with great bands. The fans enjoyed the shows of both bands big time. After the show they were all available for a quick signature, a picture and a little chat. Great to see bands getting close with their fans.
