The Black Eyed Peas, also known as BEP, is an American hip hop group from Los Angeles. As of 2009, the group is composed of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie. Since its breakout album Elephunk in 2003, the group’s pop/dance-oriented style of hip hop music has sold an estimated 15 million records worldwide. They have now released their fifth studio album “The E.N.D.”
The E.N.D is an abbreviation for The Energy Never Dies. The new album of the Black Eyed Peas is as thriving and energetic as usual. It gets you going along, no matter what. The beats are so catchy, especially of “Boom Boom Pow” that you just have to go along, your muscles twitch without you even moving them. “Imma Be” is mostly rapped. The songs are all very great so sing along and put you in a club and party mood. The album spreads positive energy and makes you feel good. “I Gotta Feeling” is the perfect song for getting ready for a night out, an extremely encouraging song. “Party All Night” gives you a beach feeling though, whereas “Out Of My Head” gives the impression of being recorded drunk. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t but at least it’s a funny song.
The album is also very animating spreading good vibes just the way we are used to. Black Eyed Peas managed it again to get in your mind and get out the smiles and happiness, the good mood and laughter. “Showdown” has a low voice talking on it, just like on the intro, a voice that gives you the creeps a little bit. But after this powerful positive album, nothing can creep you out that easily.
