Venue: Dante’s Highlight

One of Helsinki’s youngest clubs Dante’s Highlight was hosting a gig from PSG on October 16th.
Some when around midnight we entered the venue while it was still quite empty. With many events going on round town, it was good to see that still a few people came to see the band when the stage time arrived.

The band started back in 1995, had a few changes in line up and started their active presence in the music scene in 2006. In 2008 they did a tour in Germany and Spain.
PSG makes rock with influences of punk and metal with a little wink. The band mostly seems to be happy to play and enjoy them selves. The technical side of the music is not really the biggest issue, what often is in metal. Dante’s Highlight has a quite big, low stage which gives the guys all the space to run around and show off some energy.
Personally I was not really that pleased by the vocals. I don’t think I have seen the best out of it this night. Most interesting of PSG is their stage act, because so much is going on. For the music, I can’t say I would be a hard core fan. PSG is more about entertaining anyway.
