Good, I have listened to the releases of these musicians(Odin and Bjorn Berge) before, but with the name of the album, a quick glance at the album cover and the first play being on the road when quickly grabbed from the to-do stash made me some how give the impression this album would be going into a sleezerock direction.
That is really not the case at all. Instead, I am listening to a calm and modest sound. Quite electronic and lounge-like. Some nice guitar joining in for the remarkable details here and there. Making a bit of joke out of all the album title tells you. A sarcastic touch towards the toxic socioscapes of nowadays.
As a rather experimental sound that may not be for everyone but certainly brings a smile to our face. The world is full of cliché albums and predictable tracks already so when someone brings a surprise like this it is appreciated. What it requires from the listener is an open mind, a yearning for the experiment and no fear of overstepping a genre boundary. Those are only in your head anyway.
Open your mind, take your time and soon you find yourself nodding your head along and putting that album on for another spin. Odin and Bjorn Berge surely strengthen each others creativity.
