Jesse is a formation existing of two guys. They come from Finland and recently released their album “Kaikki” (which means “all” in Finnish).
The band claims on MySpace to be influenced by bands like Megadeth, Metallica and Def Leppard, but listening to the album brings you on a very different road of music. Jesse is mostly relaxed music, full of synths and effects. Call it fusion, call it lounge, but you won’t find the references to the bands mentioned earlier.
All of the song titles are in Finnish but don’t let that stop you from listening to the music, not any vocals are included so you won’t have the feeling of not understanding the abouts.
It is not really music you put on to listen with a lot of attention for details. You don’t have to focus too much, technically the music isn’t that complicated. Jesse, puts the stress in the entertaining fact of music. It just has to be there, music you hear in videogames, music you hear in movies or commercials. Music you hear in a nice lounge bar when enjoying some cocktails while wearing fancy clothes.
It’s not even music to dance to. It just has to be there… you hear this in your daily routine, but probably was never aware of its presence.
Definitely this cd is a must have if you are giving nice chill parties at your place, otherwise the album might not be that must of an expansion of your music collection.
