Copenhagen-based psych and melodic krautrock trio PAPIR has revealed the first details about their forthcoming album, aptly-titled “7”, which is slated for a release on January 14, 2022 via Stickman Records. Watch the new video, created by Søren Bang Clemmensen, for the song “7.2”

Regarding the single, singer Andrea “Ronda” Rondanini declares “Never Again is like a really bad trip. You are going to be dragged into the deepest void”. To this, guitarist Stefano “Bleed” Bigoni adds: “Never Again have always been my go to song off the new record. It’s brutal and very percussive, and it moves a lot of air when played live. It is definitely the song that produces the most severe damage among the crowd in a live situation. I absolutely love it!“
The band’s sixth studio full-length will be released on December 17th, 2021 via No Remorse Records. It was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö and features guest apearances of artists such as Niklas Stålvind (Wolf), Josefin Bäck (the original voice of “Marion ” from the first demo in 1993!) and Göran “Freddy” Fredrikson (medieval instruments). The artwork was created by Hjules Illustration and Design (Destruction, Grave Digger, Annihilator, Stratovarius).
