As the Halloween season kicks into full swing, and all of the ghoulish girls and demon dudes are beginning to emerge from their dusty graves, there’s only one band whose resurrection is sure to be greeted with blood-curdling howls of delight – the gothic-themed rockabilly project The 69 Cats! The band was formed by The 69 Eyes frontman Jyrki 69 and rockabilly guitar legend & Headcat Danny B. Harvey in 2013. “Hollywood’s Bleeding” is the brand new single/video from the upcoming album out in early 2021 via Cleopatra Records.
Finnish formation Iiwanajulma will release their brand new album “Casino Loyale” at the end of this month but is releasing already a teaser to what you can expect.
Leväluhta is the first single from Korpiklaani’s upcoming album Jylhä, out on February 5, 2021 via Nuclear Blast Records. Leväluhta (or Levänluhta) is a spring in Isokyrö. Remains of approximately a hundred Iron Age bodies have been found buried there. It remains unclear why the deceased were buried to the spring. In the story of the song, the narrator himself is one of the buried, floating in the lap of clear water beyond time and knowledge.
