Interview with: LoveCrave (by email)

How’s the feedback to your new album “Soul Saliva”?
– We’ve only had reviews at the moment and a good spot in a rock/metal chart. We are really excited cause it seems that the album creates curiosity and attention and all reviews are way better that we could ever imagine. Let’s see what happens with the people out there.
Your new Myspace Blog says that you’re signed with Metropolis Record and they will produce and release “Soul Saliva” in the U.S.A. and Canada. Congratulations! So, this is a big step for your band. What’s next? Will you be touring America soon?
– Definitely a big step forward for us and we can’t wait to see what happens with an American label and distribution. I really hope we will tour The States soon.
You were on tour in Germany lately, right? How was it?
– The tour was fun, we reached Germany and England. We did some great gigs with the club full and other gigs with very few people. It was probably a little early for the tour since the album was not out yet. Anyway tours are always fun and Germany is like a second home for us now.
What is your favorite place to play? – In general I like German festivals. It’s fun to hang around and watch the other bands playing. London clubs are also a great place to play.
Was it always a dream to be a musician? Even as a child?
– I started as a music writer and I started to sing just because nobody wanted to sing my songs. Infact my voice is not a beautiful natural voice, it’s just the result of years of live singing and sound research.
What does “LoveCrave” stand for?
– There comes the question that I hate most hahahahha Just kidding, the name comes form the title of a story that I wrote years ago. It was called “The Hundreth Rave Of Love” so here comes Love-C-Rave.
Do you plan duets for the next album? If yes, with whom? – I actually haven’t even started to think about the next album, this new one took a piece of life away and I want to enjoy it for a while before thinking of the future. There are many artists I would like to sing with though, who knows if it will be possible.
How was the show at WGT?
– Yeahhh I had so much fun! I could not hear my voice and I sang really bad but the show was great! We all had so much fun. It has been actually a great day!
Are any other festivals planned this summer?
– No, not at the moment, there are some things going on but nothing is confirmed yet.
With which band would you love to work together?
– Uhhh so many and for so many different reasons. They are all huge so I doubt that it will ever happen. Let’s see…HIM, 30 Seconds to Mars, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Linkin Park, Muse….
What are your future plans?
– Well right now I am in the middle of the promotion storm so once it passes I think we will think about filming a video.
Many thanks for your time.
– Thank you so much!
