Friday night and we are in Wiesbaden, having a great time with some amazing punk rock bands. Two bands in particular: Frank Iero and the Patience, as well as Dave Hause and the Mermaid.
The light in the venue was dim and the stage was covered in fog. Then Frank Iero and the Patience entered the stage.Frank Iero is an American musician who was the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance and post-hardcore band Leathermouth. He has a solo punk rock project titled Frank Iero and the Patience.
The venue was half way filled with punk rock fans. Most of them were wearing band shirts and typical punk rock clothes. The age of the fans was quite mixed. But all were here to celebrate music and to have a good time, together. Frank Iero and his band came on stage rocking and the audience loved it right away. The catchy punk rock music got the audience to go along. Fans sang and cheered loudly after each song. The band was rocking the stage during their entire performance.
After about forty minutes, it was time for Dave Hause to take over.
Dave Hause is an American singer-songwriter who has played in multiple Philadelphia, PA area punk and hardcore bands. He currently performs solo as well as sings and plays guitar in The Loved Ones and The Falcon.
And tonight, Dave Hause was performing here in Wiesbaden. In front of all these people that were eager to see him and his band. The stage was still lit with dim lights only, and that would not change. The amount of fog was quite steady as well.
The music of Dave Hause varied between fast punk rock music and slower music that sounded like Country music. Fans loved either. You could tell the band was passionate about the music. Everyone of the musicians put everything into the performance to make this night worthwhile. And they surely succeeded.
It has been a brilliant night with amazing bands.
