In a small town in Sweden, Borås, The Mary Major had its first gig.
So an introduction to the band is obligatory. The band exist out of Lotta Höglin (vocals), Erik Molarin (vocals), Jonas Strömberg (Drums), Daniel elofsson (guitar) and Ulf Larsson (bass).

If you think you have heard these names before, you can be very right. Four of them were in the popular gothic rock band Beseech before. A year ago, Beseech said farewell and today we were there to see the first gig of The Mary Major.
Many curious people showed up in the Parkaden café. Started off with horrible sound, which got a little better later. The alternative rock sound started with some calm songs to gain some more power during the set. I would suggest, let’s make it an annual event, a gig with these talented people in the small idealistic village called Borås because I enjoyed being there.

In 2008 the band will participate in Emergenza, worlds biggest band contest. You can see them live in Göteborg at 25th of January.
