  What would a concert be without any problems, trouble or chaos??
  And what would a band be without being able to handle that?
  Bad band and boring gig.
  Neither of that was this, though.

  All the chaos and missing equipment and other “happenings” were handled
  more than well by these two bands: The Voodoo Godz from Frankfurt/Germany and
  the Pussy Sisster from Karlsruhe/Germany.
  They played in a little pub in Frankfurt, the show was supposed to start at
  9 pm but ended up starting after 10:30 …. but oh well, the weather outside
  was terrible anyways. And the pub was warm and dry, just quite empty. Besides
  the band, the manager and us, there were about 20 other people. What a pity.
  I mean, it was for free. Ok, it was a Thursday night and it was pouring outside,
  maybe that was the reason.

But let me tell you about the show: Actually the Pussy Sisster were supposed
to start, but they went to change and in that time the Voodoo Godz started with
their soundcheck and also started with their show right after that. So they
ended up playing first. But what does that matter? The Voodoo Godz is a rockabilly band from Frankfurt, who also were the opening act for Blitzkid in August as they played in Frankfurt (a show I unfortunately couldn’t attend, because my lucky self was in Helsinki ). The singer, René, sounded a little bit like Lemmy of Motörhead, not only because they played “Ace of Spades”.   They were really good, so it was a real pity that so few people were there, because I think they deserve more, but that is just my opinion. The Voodoo Godz played, no, let me say rocked and definitely kicked ass for about 45 minutes. 45 minutes I was wondering why they don’t play at all these various little Rockabilly Festivals and Punk Festivals or take part of the Hellnights Tour and stuff like that.

   After them the Pussy Sisster were up. A band I have never heard before, but
  as they came back from changing outfits, I figured it would be something like
  a sleaze rock / glamrock band, and they were. They sounded like a mix of Hardcore
  Superstars, The Pleasures, Gemini5 and the Spacebrains. The Pussy Sisster played
  many new songs and also played for 45 minutes and let the glam rock revive in
  this little pub in Frankfurt/Germany. The few people that were there, were clapping
  along (well, mostly the other band clapped and hollered, simply because there
  were not so many more). I am sure we will hear more of the Pussy Sisster in
  the future, so stay tuned.

  Both of the bands made the best out of the circumstances of the evening. A
  huge compliment to both of them for that.
