Supports: Dauntless, Rapture; Venue: Tavastia, Helsinki(Finland)
By: Sabine van Gameren

Rapture was the first band to play in Tavastia. What I saw was a band which  tried hard to get the attention of the audience, but unfortunately for them   the evening was still pretty young. Not that many people were in the venue anyway, so it was already extra hard for Rapture. Little surprising it did not work out with the crowd, because what I hear and see is definitely interesting. Their mix of gothic and death metal impressed me. Maybe there was less going on at the stage, but the vocalists are filling it up where needed.Together they sound very powerful, while they both show off their own skills as well. I would definitely recommend people to see them playing, because Rapture is ready to conquer the world.

Dauntless guarantees more action on stage. Hard to keep up with them sometimes.
They are all everywhere on the stage. Tavastia might not have an incredibly huge stage, it is not small either. Though the performance of this band makes it way too small. With the Dauntless logo on the back of the stage, the complete show makes a nice scenery. Quite fast music, quite fast ended.Let’s say: Way too fast ended. I would love to have seen more. The trash influences in the death metal just works for this bands! It is clear that this band has some experience and the MySpace tells me they already exist since
1991 under the name Maniax. I am curious what is coming up from them

Time for Hevein. Hevein was headlining and it was clear that all most of the visitors specially came to see them.Hevein brings metal from the start until the end. I also enjoyed it from the start to the end. Vocalist Juha jumps of stage, plays with the audience, gives away his microphone to let people sing along and is basically everywhere. Bassist Janne shows his head banging skills
and likes to see some more of the stage as well. Max (cellist) and Aino(violist) are less mobile with their instruments, but that does not mean they are just stage decoration. No, we can expect some serious metal from them too.

Tempelores was happy to see the gig since the band is working on new material and does not play many gigs at this moment.Nice evening. Three nice bands, what more does a metal fan need?
