Does it ever get better? Or does it get blacker?
Alternate version of the song ”Leaving” from the EP ”The Dark Night of the Soul”, released by Reflections Records in 2017.
CELLAR DARLING released DANCE on 8 January 2021. Originally meant to be part of the band’s 2019 concept album The Spell, the song was completely rewritten during the summer and autumn of 2020. Inspiration came from two sources: the dancing plague of 1518, which is a fascinating story in itself, and an engagement with our contemporary world: doesn’t it sometimes feel like we’re in the process of dancing ourselves to death? To interpret DANCE visually, Cellar Darling asked a collective of brilliant artists to transform it into their own world of images, which they did with the support of an amazing team of professionals and helpers.
After unveiling their album opener “Tides”, followed by blistering second single, “Love Undone”, the thrilling foursome now unveils their final harbinger and third offering, while presenting another spark of their multifaceted universe: “March On Higher Grounds” delivers a dusting of desert-vibes, merging with a truly catchy refrain, and is accompanied by an official music video that authentically presents GREENLEAF in their studio surroundings, boiling with stoner rock’s finest ingredients.
‘Planet Zero’ is taken from the brand new album ‘Hyperdialect’ out via UNFD on 18th June 2021.
