KMFDM – ENEMY

KMFDM – ENEMY

Releasedate: 06-02-2026
Label: Metropolis Records

The ultra-heavy beat pioneers KMFDM turned the page of their vast history with 24th studio album ENEMY.

Being EBM-cored, this formation juggles with several genres that can’t deal on the same stage. This time KMFDM served the eleven tracks, complicated and easy at the same time. Started as solid rock composition “ENEMY” declared teeth-crushing truth: “but by all means keep moving”. When “VAMPYR” turned on, I thought that it could be forthcoming “Love, death & robots” series. However, after this confusing and intriguing intro, the original KMFDM sound backs. Dynamic and non-compromising. If only Blondie went ambient, then “YOÜ” and “A OKAY” perfectly fitted. Well, head from punk to funk, if only imagine “STRAY BULLET 2.0” be mentioned as sample. Crawling and drawling with stable beat “CATCH & KILL” kicked off. Run out of control keyboards framed “GUN QUARTER SUE”, that is absolutely my fav. Three repetitive themes of this tune mixed as if it based on psychedelic or stoner rock principles. KMFDM made a final twist with “THE SECOND COMING”, dropped hard and heavy track not in the meaning of genre, mostly of it doom and crashing industrial background.

Don’t miss the chance to meet with ENEMY on streaming platforms or elsewhere you prefer listening to music. Staying on track for over four decades, KMFDM knows a few tricks for captivating audiences.
