Reject The Sickness, a melodic death metal / metalcore band from Ghent, Belgium, released their album “Signs Of The End” on May 30, 2025 as an independent/autonomous production.

Musically “Signs Of The End” leans heavily on melodic death metal with influences from the Swedish style, mixed with metalcore aggression and occasional atmospheric or black metal-tinged elements. The pacing is consistently energetic: fast riffs, double-bass drumming, aggressive growls dominate many tracks, while mid-tempo sections offer breathing space and variation. “Signs Of The End” is a robust entry in Reject The Sickness’s discography, demonstrating growth in both songwriting and production. It may not reinvent melodic death metal, but it refines it—melding intensity, darkness, and melody in a coherent package. For listeners who appreciate aggressive vocal delivery, tight instrumentation, and albums that balance brutality with atmosphere, it delivers. For those looking for more radical innovation, it might feel somewhat familiar—but the execution is strong enough to make this album a worthwhile experience.
