Fat Bastard is a high-energy rock band from Antwerp, Belgium, known for their raw, unfiltered sound that blends elements of Motörhead, Peter Pan Speedrock, and rockabilly. Barely Dressed is a 40-minute ride through a blend of raw rock ‘n’ roll, punk, and metal influences. The album kicks off with “Never Told Me Her Name,” setting the tone with fast drums, screeching guitars, and strong vocals. Tracks like “You Know You Are Gone” showcase the band’s Motörhead influences, delivering a punchy, in-your-face sound.

“Come Out and Play” introduces a glam rock vibe, written in just 15 minutes, highlighting the band’s versatility. “Tiger Queen” draws inspiration from Motörhead’s “Love Me Like a Reptile” and Amörtisseur’s “Slangesex,” infusing the album with a playful energy. The closing track, “Kill My Soul,” is a deeply personal song addressing childhood abuse, featuring upbeat music that contrasts with its dark subject matter, aiming to raise awareness about the issue.
