Supports: Autumn Kings
Location: Willemeen, Arnhem (Netherlands)
Autumn Kings and Cyan Kicks are on the road together. This evening they visited Arnhem (Netherlands).
Autumn Kings
The formation Autumn Kings was tasked with opening the evening. The formation has a sound that combines the most popular sort of Rock and Metal with their own charm to it. Here and there some hiphop feel like Hacktivist could bring and then you get the feeling what they are about. A bunch of fanatic fans are following the tour and occupy the frontrow. Their enthusiasm for several songs, including Ricky Martin cover Livin La Vida Loca, seems to work contagious.
The high energy level that the guys come with is seen throughout the set, but yet they have a bit of variation in the style of the songs. Some are more towards a heavy pop/rock sound where others go a bit more extreme. A Linkin Park cover that plays towards the end of the set indicate an obvious move, the band seem to come close to that in sound over their whole range.
Sure the venue was not completely filled tonight, but the band certainly entertained their audience.

Cyan Kicks
Finnish Rock formation Cyan Kicks have made waves as well. Their songs have been going in strong rotation online and they made their way to an European tour. This year a few new singles have dropped, which obviously made it to their setlist tonight. Fans have gotten some time to get to know these already and the frontrows were singing along almost the entire set. With Electronic influences the band has a Pop sound, also they way they present themselves on the stage is well thought, full of energy and with international allure. Catchy tracks on hands, the band has all they need to fill up the largest stages. Tonight they started with impressing the most fanatic followers. Songs like “Don’t you say I didn’t warn you”, “Can’t Get You Out Of My Bed” and “Satallites” are easy to pick up on and get people in motion. The dynamics between the band members is unique, all seem to find their own space and energy and not a moment is spend to catch breath.
Also Cyan Kicks is not holding back of covers, Heart’s ‘Alone’ is an interesting choice as it is a bit apart from their own sound, but they skilfully bend it to their style without doing it any injustice.
An eventful and energetic evening where the band had an intimate meeting with their most dedicated fans. An unique night that won’t be rematched for they can only grow larger.
