German formation Wolfen Reloaded is making Rock music for some years now. The band released their debut album in 2018. This year a new album came out and the band has been taken their time to refine their sound. The title is “The Ghost From Within” and it is available now.

The guys said to have changed a bit through the years and what we are hearing when listening to this release is a variety of influences. A clear reference is Classic Rock with a melodic feel to it. But the band is also experimenting with a progressive sound. That all results in a sound full of energetic riffs and powerful melodies.

Tracks like “Poison In Your Veins”  are well thought, a structure that has enough power to bring the message but with complexity to keep the purist looking at it as well.

Some tracks are a bit more catchy, made to bring an impact when played live, and luckily the balance within the tracklist brings that one keeps listening till all ten tracks have been played. A ballad is not missing on this release either. “Broken” is a steady track to bring an emotional touch to the album.

Wolfen Reloaded has released an album after some years of absence and it is clear that they have thought carefully on what they want to bring. Here and there they could express the details with a bit more highlight but overall this release will entertain the Hardrock fan easily.
