Human Zoo has about twenty years of band history behind them. The German formation translates the sound of the 80s towards their own sound. It has been a while since we heard from, the last album was from 2016, but this year they released the album “Echoes Beyond”.

The band is having a good variety of songs in this release. A ballad-type like “Daddy You’re A Star” is giving us their softer side, but the strength of this band lays in their more up tempo tracks. “Gun 4 A While” is opening the album and shows right away that they can bring a good dose of power and “To The Ground” a bit later in the track list shows a good following on that. With some saxophone they know how to put some interesting elements to their tracks. We see the saxophone used a lot more in this kindof music nowadays but for Human Zoo it truly integrated in their sound.

Altogether the band released a fine album. Their fifth release is one they can be proud of. They announced that some touring will be happening for this release so we look forward to seeing them on the road.
