TraumeR is a band from Brazil that makes Power Metal. Their debut album came out in 2014 and with it they got a glimpse of international fame, now ready to expand on that with the release of a second full length album. “Avalon” is out now.
TraumeR is not a band that is going to give you something you have not heard before. Power Metal and all its clichés are included in this album, in fact you could not really name anything here that you haven’t heard elsewhere. Yet we can tell you why you will have to like this album. It’s brought with proper quality. The vocals are well done. Clear, and on the right way suited into the music, the drama is there without it becoming too overdone, no the band kept all in moderation, no complains on that. Guitars giving you some nice riffs and the whole sound of these guys is well produced. Just a little trap for them is that perhaps the album is two songs too long. You heard it all at some point.
Basically “Avalon” is a fine album for a Power Metal fan. It is not innovative, but brought with good quality. Let’s see if the guys make it to Europe for some live appearances.
