Daughtry is an American rock band from McLeansville, North Carolina, formed and fronted by Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2006 and reached number one in the Billboard charts.
Since then they released two other albums that were just as well selling as the first. Now, six years of band history later, Daughtry released their fourth album called “Baptized”. The new album is coming with twelve tracks. All songs are very catchy and perfect for being played on the radio. Somewhere between country music and slow rock the music of Daughtry definitely touches your heart and goes deep underneath your skin. Most of the songs are slower and perfect to sway and clap along to. All lyrics are absolutely thoughtful, filled with emotions that come from the heart. “Baptized” is an album that definitely makes you think. The music by Daughtry is calm and relaxing. A few songs, such as the song “Traitor” are a little harsher and rougher. All in all “Baptized” is a beautiful album that can be heard at all times, everywhere and with everybody.
