The Dutch Death Metal formation Mortal Form released their full length album “Taste The Blood”
Mortal Form started back in 1994 under the name of Odd Funeral as a coverband. In 1999 they released an promo under the name Mortal Form.
After some line up changes the band now has a line up that kills as it seems when I start listening the album. More than I expected, I hear the presence of melodic sounds in the music. Thrash is there, brutality not left out but the melodies: just yummie!
The riffs are sharp and I was wondering how come that I have missed out on my compatriots for so long. Surely, I hear several things I have heard before, as in the way that nothing is really unique nowadays, I can say that surely feel very pleased with this album.
Were energy explodes, where the drums are pounding deeply into your soul is where Mortal Form is at work. All the years of experience have been showing off and that is a thing to admire in them.
