A rocking Monday with three kick-ass bands. Two of them were from Norway and it was their last day of this tour. The last one was a German band called 4lyn. The Nachtleben was quite crowded already although it had been a Monday night. There were punks, Goths and even some metal fans in the crowd. Mostly there were 4lyn fans though. Some people were only there for the first two bands who where much harsher than 4lyn.

The first band of the night was called The Cumshots. A tall singer and the rest of the guys more looking like a country band. The music was very metal like and the singer shouted a lot. The Cumshots was formed in 1999 by Kristopher Schau and Ole Petter Andreassen. The band has released 3 albums, and is known for their violent live performances where members of the band have regularly suffered fractures and lacerations .Speaking of it the singer had a bandage around two of his fingers but if it hurt he didn’t show pain at all. He walked through the audience and gave a ring to one girl in the audience and announced her as his wife. She had to carry his microphone in front of him on one of the singer’s journeys through the audience. Many people moshed and shouted along having a blast. Closer to the end of the show the band had a confetti bomb blasting off into the audience and the singer of 4lyn joined them on stage for the encore.

The next band was another Norwegian band called Silver, another hard rock band. The singer smeared a banana all over his head and face as they entered the stage. Then they began to rock. The band jumped around heavily non-stop, and pushed each other off the stage and all around on stage. The audience moshed, rocked and jumped around to the songs. The music was very energetic and the guys gave everything on stage. Slightly chaotic yet very thriving they shared their passion to music with their fans and everybody else in the club. Somehow the singer of 4lyn just couldn’t stay off stage and joined Silver as well for a song.

Last of the night was 4lyn, a German rock band who is sticking around in the business for almost 15 years now but still enjoy talks with their fans as they did in their beginning stages. The bass player Björn wasn’t along for the past two weeks of the tour due to some back problems, so they had a replacement of a friend from Berlin who also played the first song with 4lyn this night. But then Ron (singer) announced that he wouldn’t pull out a paper statue of their actual bass player nor would he send greetings to us for him because he is back. At that moment Björn entered the stage and took over the part of the bass player again. The fans were happy and cheered big time. The other one didn’t leave the stage for long though but was always jumping around on stage and having a blast during the entire show. All four guys of 4lyn had a blast on stage as well. The singer talked a lot with the audience. They did the Braveheart ritual again which is also known as “wall of death” and for “Pearls” Ron got up a woman out of the audience again who had to sit on a chair while Ron is pouring water all over her, singing to her and sitting on her, and so on. They played songs off all albums and everybody sang and clapped along. The cheering was loud. They played for more than an hour plus encore and just wouldn’t leave the stage. For some songs some guys of the other two bands joined them on stage. It was a very energetic performance spreading happiness and good times. 4lyn is a wonderful live band and I recommend them to everybody who loves rock’n’roll.
