Dead by Gun is a Finnish punk rock band founded in 2001. This band is straight forward and says what they think. They now have their second album released.
The album is punk rock at its finest. The sound is pure and straight forward, taken right out of real life. The catchy melodies get you moving along. Chris’ smoky voice leads your imagination down to the dirty suburbs and shows you how life really is.
The album is about 40 minutes long but seems to fly by in no time. Catchy guitar riffs, great lyrics and smooth melodies, all fitting together perfectly well. Outstanding songs are “Kids”, “Reign of Bullets”, “Sooner or Later” and “End This Misery”. Dead by Gun rock throughout the album with serious songs, distorted guitar riffs and bad ass attitudes.
The layout of the album is fitting the sound very well. It is held in dark colors, giving you a dangerous and somehow criminal feeling. There are fingerprints on the back and the front looks like a SAW cover with a dead body laying there. The promo pictures of each member reminds of the Sin-City style. A really great layout.
