And here is the review of the newest and latest album of the British band NEX called A Clockwork Heart. What the band is all about and that they are founded in 2002 I already told you in the other review, so I’ll continue with the review about the album right away:
The piano intro calms you before the band hits you hard with the harsh metal riffs and the shouting. As in the last album you can also find a great balance between melodic rhythms and normal singing and the metal riffs with the shouting. The song “Witch Hunting” has a great rhythm. This album is a little bit harsher than the last, but it has more of these melodic samplers like for example the piano intro. The song “Ashes & Embers” is the ballad on the album and is played with acoustic guitar only for almost the whole song. “We All Went Out To Sea” begins with piano playing only and stays like that for quite long until the shouting and the hard riffs set in again. A nice album, just like the last one. Let’s see what the next one will bring.
