Release date: 2007 Label: Self financed
By: Sabine van Gameren
The Spanish melodic metalband Dawn of Tears released their album Descent recently.
At this moment they try to give their band a position on the World Wide Web through
websites as Myspace.com.
Their fame is not that big yet, just 429 friends at this moment. May be after
a while they will start growing, since their music is seriously good stuff.
At some points I do hear influences from bands like children of bodom and Kalmah.
When listening to songs as “poisoned minds, shattered hearts” and
“Blood on veronica” I really wonder why this band has not found them
selves a label. Musically it all fits perfectly together and I wonder how they
do live.
I am sure we will hear more from this band in the future!
