Remington Beach Club is an alternative rock band from Bremen/Germany. “My Trivial Pursuit Of Happiness” is their debut album. Five guys who have indie punk’n’roll in their veins.
The album contains 10 catchy, melodic and rocking songs. The tracks are easy to memorize and extremely catchy so you will at least nod along. If you didn’t know they are from German you would probably guess they are from the USA because of their great sound. The music seems very professional on this album and doesn’t feel like a debut album. The guys pretty much know what they want and prove it with this record.
The cover reminds of a 40s commercial. Inside of the booklet you can find the lyrics on baby blue and soft pink background. But don’t be mistaken by the soft colors because the music also kicks ass with its edgy riffs. Of course you can also find softer songs on it as well. The ten songs on the album sum up to not even 40 minutes length. Too bad, because I really enjoyed the album. But I am convinced we will hear more about these five guys in near future.
