Stereomotion is a German electro project of a guy called Florian. He has now released his debut album.
The music is very electronic with a slight vocal distortion. The melodies are dreamy and the beat is catchy. The lyrics are in German and English. Very melancholic and slightly sad does the music get into your skin. The musical focus seemed to be on the beat more than on the vocals or the melodies, because they are tuned in just softly.
The album is very calm and it stays like that during all songs. There is not much action in the music so it is a great album to chill. Somehow this album is spreading a dim shadow with fog in your dreamland though. Gloomy it fills the air. The music leads you into a state of mind that takes away control and you are just out of space and time, it keeps you there till the end, pushing you forward bit by bit. On some songs you can hear a female voice.
“Sehn:Sucht” sounds as desperate as the name tells you, melancholic it keeps you in its own little world. Enjoy.
