Das-Kollektiv.net is an electro and dark wave project founded in Germany.
The songs are sung in German and the music is very danceable and great for clubs. “Moment” is a little slower and thoughtful. The lyrics are deep and dark. Some songs remind of several other electro bands such as Eisbrecher, Skinny Puppy, Mesh and so on.
The music sounds wide like a huge wasteland you a wandering around in. Lost and seeking for light, but there is none, only dark fog. The beats get you going and keep you walking, the voice doesn’t let you stop nor look behind. Dark and smoky is it singing the vocals. Some brighter melodies in the background show you a glimpse of light, but it disappears as quickly as it appeared. The lyrics have a deeper meaning, but even without understanding German you will most likely get the meaning, since the music is carrying it quite well. The cover reminds of a cult because of the black capes and white masks.
Das-Kollektiv.net is a definite addition to every dark wave/electro collection. And I am sure we will hear it at several dark wave parties out in the clubs and many of you will be dancing to it.
