After the first work, “Stories” from the year 2007 now the second CD of Rawkfist appears and bears the title: “Gardens of Elysia”. The five young musicians from Southern Germany – to follow their one main goal, to offer the audience an experience of stage performance, sound and lyrics that will reach many hearts – have themselves fulfilled a dream.

Rawkfist, after two years of band history, has enjoyed a very loyal fan base and looks forward to an active growth after the release of their second album, “Gardens of Elysia. In this work, the listener gets ten impressive and emotional songs to hear. They all show out in the dramatic sound of symphonic metal.

The album begins with piano playing and prepares you slowly for what to come. A sweet singing voice accompanied by metal sounds. The music on “What Ever They Preach” is quite strong and harsh, it comes blasting right in. But the sweet and soft voice makes it much more fragile and emotional. The melodies are quite catchy The songs altogether sound like a fairytale which is taking you right along on the journey. One song on this album is sung in German, the rest is all sung in English. The last song is very slow and accompanied by piano only. A common and also great closing for an album. Now it’s your turn to get the fairytale going in your player.
