Amoral is a metal band from Helsinki, Finland. They play technical, progressive, melodic, hard rock oriented metal. The band’s 4th album was an about-turn, replacing the dominance of quirky death metal with an exemplary display of riff-driven, heavy, yet melodic power groove and the occasional sing-along chorus. “In Sequence” is the seventh album of the Finns.

“In Sequence” comes eight songs and lasts for almost an hour. Each song has its own pace and soul. Telling its own story. It seems as if each track on this album is an individual piece of art that just somehow happen to end up on the same release. Almost as if it was coincidence. From hart and heavy metal with shouted vocals and shredded guitar riffs to soft and peaceful melodies, sung with a loving voice. Sometimes a high-pitched vocal part, sometimes deep and harsh. Amoral keeps “In Sequence” interesting.
