Imperia is a Gothic formation in which multiple nationalities are represented. This year the band comes with album number four called “Tears of Silence”.
Imperia comes with this new album and perhaps you may not be surprised to much with the songs on this release. If you have listened to the band’s previous material then this release will closely match with that. But that being said, the album has the quality that you are used to. The emotional vocals of the lady upfront, Helena, are comfortably making an impression. It hits you, but never goes overboard with drama. She keeps it to the dose that suits the song.
Songs that draw your attention are “Innocent Child”, which will speak to many as the lyrics are very vivid but also “Motherlove” which seem somewhat connected although the songs are different in the vibe.
The variance the band keeps with this album shows their strength. They can keep your entertained through the whole tracklist, make you listen with care, but it is also an album you can simply enjoy listening as it is not too overdone with complexity. Straightforward sound, brought with quality and emotion results in “Tears of Silence” being a release that is pleasant to listen to and will surely stick around longtime in your memory.
