\u00a0 This show was announced as Herrie met Harries (Noise with Harry’s) (see picture),
\n\u00a0 which I later found out was named that way because of a guy called Harry playing
\n\u00a0 in two of bands. Due to circumstances beyond my powers I was only able to see
\n\u00a0 the last 2 songs of Skeletor.\u00a0\u00a0 Not that I minded much, since I had already seen
\n\u00a0 this band on Bevrijdingsfestival Wageningen (The Netherlands) on the 5th of
\n\u00a0 May and back then I wasn’t impressed by their death\/thrash. I only had time
\n\u00a0 to take pictures so no good impression of how the show was. The baldheaded singer
\n\u00a0 had a very good gullet, but that is all I can really tell you. The attendance
\n\u00a0 of about 20 people was at a worrying low for De Peppel. I have been at this
\n\u00a0 club for about ten times I think and it was always quite crowded. But perhaps
\n\u00a0 this was due to there being only local bands.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 The weather was still good outside and since smoking was not allowed I went
\n\u00a0 outside during the break between the bands, to talk with my friends. With a
\n\u00a0 slight delay the first Harry band called Irritation started playing. Their melodic
\n\u00a0 deathmetal was mainly performed by the singer: Harry. The others stood sort
\n\u00a0 of lifeless and bored just playing their parts. If you think away the other
\n\u00a0 members it was quite cool. He could do with some more interaction with the crowd
\n\u00a0 but all in all I found it quite ok. Hopefully the other members will be learning
\n\u00a0 how to move to metalmusic or at least to have some metal postures and looks.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 The break was again spent outside and the atmosphere was great. Slowly the
\n\u00a0 attendance raised a bit to perhaps 40. Clearly more people than just me only
\n\u00a0 wanted to see Xantossa. And not without reason, because this band is a lot more
\n\u00a0 professional than the other two. The bassist caught the eye for wearing a white
\n\u00a0 sportshirt of Finland and a zebra skin coloured hat. Not very usual for a death
\n\u00a0 metal band, but beyond that his playing and his moves are very metal which makes
\n\u00a0 the band already quite entertaining. With Harry now performing on guitar Xantossa
\n\u00a0 has another eye catcher in its ranks. Just like in Skeletor he knows how to
\n\u00a0 perform. Add to that the metal aura of the meagre and lengthy appearance operating
\n\u00a0 the microphone called Sander Boere and you got your perfect ingredients of a
\n\u00a0 devilishly entertaining metalact. If Xantossa would just do some more performances
\n\u00a0 Sander could learn how to come across less insecure which would really add to
\n\u00a0 the show. But most of the attendants seemed not to be distracted by this at
\n\u00a0 all. Some of the present persons were clearly fans of the band seeing they were
\n\u00a0 singing along and there was even a small mosh pit of perhaps four persons at
\n\u00a0 most and some headbanging could also be noticed. Keep up the good work Xantossa.
\n\u00a0 Try to put more effort in getting more performances and try to get to a higher
\n\u00a0 level. You got potential!<\/p>\n
