Our Lady Peace is a Canadian band formed in 1992. They released seven albums so far and with their latest one \u201cBurn Burn\u201d they\u2019re establishing themselves more and more on the alternative rock scene.

\nOur Lady Peace last release was back in 2005 with the album \u201cHealthy In Paranoid Times\u201d and since then a lot of things changed: producer, first of all, which changed from Bob Rock to Raine Maida himself, singer of the band. I think this change gave the band more freedom, and above all moved them away from the commercial mark they were falling in. Moreover I definitely think that all this time helped the band in developing their style a lot. You wouldn\u2019t say it just by listening to the first single of the album \u201cAll You Did Was Save My Life\u201d which is quite the typical Our Lady Peace\u2019s song, but listening to the whole album again and again. In fact, this is that kind of album that needs time to be understood in every way but when the time comes, you start to go into the songs, or at least this is what happened to me. Every song has its own story and atmosphere which is to be found in deep and emotional lyrics, from the energetic \u201cMonkey Brains\u201d to \u201cPaper Moon\u201d, in which Raine Maida\u2019 falsetto is back again after a long absence in OLP\u2019s music.
\nI\u2019d say this is a very relaxing album more concentred on slower songs with good melodies and full of new ideas as well that took the band on a higher level.<\/p>\n\n\n
