It was 2006 when Chris Daughtry took part in American Idol show and arrived fourth, and right in 2006 he decided to continue his career making American Idol his launching pad to become a rock star through his rock band \u201cDaughtry\u201d.
\n
\n\u201cLeave This Town\u201d is exactly the album I expected to listen to because it follows the same path of the previous one \u201cDaughtry\u201d. Actually, if the songs of \u201cLeave This Town\u201d would be put together with the \u201cDaughtry\u201d ones I don\u2019t think anyone would notice the difference between them. I\u2019d say it’s quite boring to see and hear a band repeating itself but in this case I kind of like this choice. On the other hand you can see this choice as a way to stay coherent, maybe the band needs more time to evolve its music in something new that can stand out from the bunch of current rock bands.
\n\u201cSeptember\u201d, \u201cTenesse Line\u201d and \u201cCall Your Name\u201d are the slowest songs in which Chris energetic voice turns into a more intense mood. Daughtry style is that one that can be liked even by those who are not rock fans at all since it is pop\/rock (more rock than pop) with catchy melodies and really good vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n
