They released two demo’s but now their very first full length album “Inmotion” is released.

The band has been formed in 2003 and developed a lot during the time. The trio starts in “Inmotion” with a composition with deep growling vocals. Genrewise this song meets the death metalquite closely. It holds on in the second song, but when coming to the third song of this album there is a change. There come clean vocals to light. It took some time to get used to the way the vocals are placed in there, suddenly the melodic side of the band takes more the overhand. The bridge from the second to the third song comes with hills, it could have been done a bit smoother. The sixth song comes with a long acoustic guitar solo and although it is once again a step away from the previous songs, it turns out that it fits in here.
The eighth song called “Perilous Seas” sticks in mind because the end of this song is just perfect. It fits to the atmosphere and leads you to the end instead of letting it come to abrupt.

“Inmotion” is an album that shows a lot of different sides of the band. Because of the edgy transitions it is not really one piece as an album, but more a collection of styles. Though, it has its potential jewels in each dimension so keeping an eye on these Dutch guys might pay out in future.

Line Up:
Bauke Valstar – Guitar, Vocals
Arno Rensink – Bass
Sander Bosscher – Drums, Backing vocals

Tracklist:
Oath To The Sacrificed
Desidero Fides
Distant Shores
Lost
Fading Images
Ahead Of Sadness
A Cry…The Sound Of A Tragedy
Perilous Seas
Destinies Grace
Into Remembrance

Links:
Am Tuat MySpace
Am Tuat Official

Releasedate: 25-05-2009 By: Sabine van Gameren The Dutch band Am Tuat ,ales melodic doom metal with progressive and death elements.
