This first full album from this band from the Dutch<br \/>\n\u00a0 city Rotterdam has 8 songs, but take you on a journey passing different styles<br \/>\n\u00a0 of music. Danceable tunes, a little bit of punk, 80&#8217;s guitar riffs and some<br \/>\n\u00a0 ska-like saxophone. This makes them stand out compared with similar bands.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 When you have seen them live it is quite a bunch on stage, bit hectic and their<br \/>\n\u00a0 front man Peter de Koning is something special. He reminded me a little of Mick<br \/>\n\u00a0 Jagger, the way he walks around and acts. But dressed maybe like these nerd-ish<br \/>\n\u00a0 characters but maybe that is also one of the comparisons with Frans Ferdinand.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 But let me tell you about their new CD as following up after their EP \u201cUniform\u201d.<br \/>\n\u00a0 I would say this is one of those albums you should listen loud when getting<br \/>\n\u00a0 ready to go to a party or when you need to get in some dancing mood. The tunes<br \/>\n\u00a0 are very danceable and the trumpets and saxophone start to make you move around.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 The first track that really stands out is \u201cFire\u201d, one of those irritating<br \/>\n\u00a0 songs that stick in your mind no matter what. The trumpets and the bass guitar<br \/>\n\u00a0 add that ska flavour to this song. Fire!<br \/>\n\u00a0 The fourth song of the album \u201cKawasaki Helvete!\u201d does not only have<br \/>\n\u00a0 the same name as the cd, but to me also represents what the band is all about.<br \/>\n\u00a0 Somehow I missed something in the first three songs, but it might be made as<br \/>\n\u00a0 an intro for the listener to get adjusted to the Saunawest sound.<br \/>\n\u00a0 Just when you are about to enter the dance floor in your own room, the slower<br \/>\n\u00a0 song \u201cWireless Network Detected\u201d starts. To me not the right place<br \/>\n\u00a0 on this album, or is this calculated to breathe some air after the dance tunes?<br \/>\n\u00a0 Or maybe I need to say that I was not connected with this song.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Although the next song is called \u201cCall From the Canyon\u201d and makes<br \/>\n\u00a0 you think of red mountains, there is some Indian-like intro made by the trumpets.<br \/>\n\u00a0 \u201cPlus Belle Avec Une Coubelle\u201d is a little weird, but when you are<br \/>\n\u00a0 almost at the end of this CD, you come to understand that the band doesn&#8217;t just<br \/>\n\u00a0 have nice dancing tunes but likes to add something to the songs. The joke, for<br \/>\n\u00a0 me with the Coubelle song is a real \u201ccowbell\u201d on stage. (this of course<br \/>\n\u00a0 you do not see when listening to the CD). The French singing vocalist gives<br \/>\n\u00a0 this song a relaxed vibe until you come to the end of the song which brings<br \/>\n\u00a0 you literally a climax. His climax.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Although I think the band is capable of more, the disco tune-songs stand out<br \/>\n\u00a0 on this album.<br \/>\n\u00a0 The album is nice, but if they would have added one or maybe even two more songs<br \/>\n\u00a0 with great dance tunes in their own approach I think this album would have been<br \/>\n\u00a0 great. It is still not bad, and good to listen to when you need to get ready<br \/>\n\u00a0 but I have the feeling they can do better.<\/p>\n<table width=\"377\" style=\"width: 377px; height: 172px\">\n<tr>\n<td>\u00a0  \u00a0<\/td>\n<td>\u00a0 1.
