For the power metal fans out there Mystic Prophecy doesn\u2019t need an introduction. The band just released their sixth album \u201cFireangel\u201d.
\n
\nIn 2008 the band had to do with quite some lineup changes as some of the old band members announced that they want to spend more time with their family. Some new musicians joined forces and the band had the task standing to show the fans that they still do were they were good at from the very beginning: making some heavy power metal.<\/p>\n

Bandleader\/vocalist R.D. Liapakis have done a nice job, as the music in the first place does not disappoint at all. Their sound could cave straight from USA while they are actually from Germany, which is eventually what they are seeking for. Not all of the songs are on high speed, some of them are more mid tempo and this takes the heat of it.
\nThe songs are generally quite catchy and the vocals are impressive. Not too whiney, but full of fire and wasn\u2019t that said in the album title in the first place?
\nSeeing this album more instrumentally, you will notice that Mystic Prophesy has some influences of the heavier genres and take a small step away from the too stereotype sound that the speed\/power metal acts from nowadays seem to adopt massively.<\/p>\n

Mystic Prophecy did a nice job with this album, they can be very satisfied. Fans of them can be happy with this album, it being a nice add to their collection.<\/p>\n
