When they felt ready for making more complex Death Metal they decided to work under the name of Dead Eyed Sleeper. Some lineup changes occurred as well.

This formation was formed in 2007 and in the same year they released their debut album “In Memory of Mankind” and now the band brings their second full length “Through Forests of Nonentities” to light via Supreme Chaos Records.

The album carries a doom atmosphere starting with the booklet. The album is built on three chapters, each holding three songs. When listening to them it is quite obvious that the progressive style of these Germans is comprehensive. There is very precisely worked on, taken care of each single detail over and over again and you can hear the results! Surely an album you need to listen more than just a couple of times before making judgment. It has the atmosphere from a perfect doom album, but with the brutality from death metal. It is quite an innovative style these guys empathize, you cannot really put a “sounds like” on them.

Instruments all have their ego moments, some songs the drums go up front, where in other moments the bass is driving the whole. Vocalist Sam Anetzberger has an interesting range of vocal styles to present.
The whole musical experience of “Through Forests of Nonentities” is quite divers, you can find a lot of differentials in there. And be prepared to get thrown around like you are living inside a washing machine as well, your experience gets tumbled all over when listening it the second time and again with the third, fourth, fifth etc. time you spinning the record.
That is already the first reason why this album stays on top of stash for a while. Second is, that Dead Eyed Sleeper brought a quality innovative album and you better want to close in your heart now, get their debut album as well, if you have not had it before and wait full excitement on the next.

Line Up:
Sam Anetzberger – Vocals
Stephan Wandernoth – Guitar
Peter Eifflaender – Guitar
Thomas Amann – Bass
Corny Althammer – Drums

Tracklist:
1rst Chapter – Enclosure
1.
