Demonical is a Swedish Death Metal formation. The formed in 2006 so the band is still quite young, but nevertheless the band released their second full length album \u201cHellsworn\u201d via Cyclone Empire.

\nWith members of Sweden\u2019s biggest deatrh metal bands in the line up there is nothing else to expect than some solid death metal. But to say I was exactly pleased by this, not exactly. I felt highly disappointed while hearing not too much innovative creations on \u201cHellsworn\u201d. It is pretty much more of the same, while this being a not too high level. Maybe it is that the standards are really high, but I did not really hear much new in the music of Demonical. Drums, have hardly found a decent spot, mixed away as they are not important at all. Vocals, aggressive but not various at all. There is nothing that really speaks for Demonical. Like they do not have an own identity. No one asks them to recreate metal, but at least a face of their own could have been shown.<\/p>\n

I hope I can be more impressed if I would hear a next record or see them live, perhaps that does the trick more than \u201cHellsworn\u201d will do.<\/p>\n
