Conspiracy is a black metal project by Alex Al’ Hazred. He started out in Ukraine in 1988 but nowadays lives in the Netherlands. In 2006 he released his debut album, and now three years later his second album \u201cConcordat\u201d sees light.

\nIn the project Conspiracy all the instruments are taken care of by Alex himself. His personal ego work has some mixture of extreme metal in all ways. Interesting to hear someone taking up different instruments, but it is a rare thing that a person is brilliant in all of them and so come that Alex is not one of those. I found the drums a lesser part of the album, while guitars stick out a bit more. It\u2019s quite layered and that makes up a lot. The Thrash elements in the music make it all more raw and aggressive. Some folk music is mixed in there as well and that gives different atmospheres to this music. Interesting for sure, but somehow it sounds a bit like a castle from Lego blocks. Puzzled together.<\/p>\n

Conspiracy made this album with the right qualifications and intentions, but it came out just average. I think there is a lot more to expect from this musician and therefore I am a bit disappointed by the total outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n
