The debut album \u201cWar On The Inside\u201d from the Swiss rock-\/metal-trio 69 Chambers with frontwoman Nina Treml on guitar and vocals, bass player Maddy Madarasz and drummer Michi Brugger, was produced by Tommy Vetterli (Coroner, Kreator). It\u2019s a high-quality production with a powerful sound, heavy dropped guitars and unique vocals that sing unusual yet catchy melodies. Since it is their first album there\u2019s not much band history to tell you. Formed in 2006 they now try to kick international asses with what we can hold in hands now: \u201cWar On The Inside\u201d.<\/p>\n

The music is hard to compare but it has something of Alanis Morissette and even a little bit of The Vincent Black Shadows. With a free spirit and open mind this album rocks your ears. Not too aggressive but still quite hard riffs and fast beats lead you through the album. The singer sings soft and hard, even shouts some times, a nice variation of all can be found on the album. Easy and catchy melodies make you sway and nod along to the beats. \u201cOn The Inside\u201d has some oriental melodies in it as well. Some songs are faster some slower, yet would I not describe it as metal only, it surely has metal elements in it though. Some songs are very thoughtful so it might be worth it listening close sometimes because you will hear some interesting parts in the lyrics. All in all the entire album is very interesting and I think there should be more female rock bands like this.<\/p>\n\n\n
