They make progressive Psycho rock as they name it and released their album “Silver” via Daybox records.

The album comes with a thick booklet with what it looks like someone’s holiday photo’s turned into black and white with photoshops’ grayscale tool. All of these photo’s radiate a certain emptiness. Pieces of quiet places, a bit depressive atmosphere. One has a road sign on it that points to the direction of Hope. It is 21 kilometers away. Not exactly a cheerful idea to catch on your road.
The music is not really full of joy either. The doom atmosphere comes mostly forth in the vocals of vocalist John Snell. He brings the lyrics exactly like road sign in the booklet: Hope – 21 Kilometers.
Instrumentally, I found more positivity. They really need that actually, otherwise this music might prevail a bit too much doom. They made use of acoustic guitar in the music which somehow lightened it up. I found the instrumental part and the vocal part not really matching together and that is a pity. Like now it sounds like a teenage drama world translated to an older audience. A bitter piece of music where they have tried to add some sugar, but in the end it is still not tasting very nice.

“Silver” is to me not more than an average album. It does not really stand out.

Line up:
John Snell – Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Mauro Aimetti – Bass
Angelo Marrocco – Electric Guitar

Tracklist:
01.
