Disblief is a Death metal band from Germany which have a long line of releases behind their names. Right now they released their album \u201cProtected Hell\u201d which is their 8th.
\n
\nFrom a band who formed in 1990 and is already up for their 8th release you have the right to expect a true killer album. The guys have made themselves an own style true the years that stands for typical European death metal. Their vocalist, Karsten, has a unique voice and on \u201c Protected Hell\u201d he is there to show once again why he became that much of an trademark for his band. The riffs in this album are mostly sniping and a bit of experimenting. Elements of doom are there but a slight touch of industrial can be heard as well. There is some groove in their music that attracts me and with emotional parts the band may take a risk but I think it turned out well. Drums fill in the gates between the vocals and the guitars quite well. The album is solid, the album is as steady as a castle wall. Those kind of castles that last for 100rds of years and never really turn into a ru\u00efn.<\/p>\n

\u201cProtected Hell\u201d is one to be positive about. Hardly anything less to say about, maybe the artwork does not really meet my expectations or my perception of their music but that is such a minor thing that it should not stop you from listening to this album. Even after all these years of metal Disbelief still is very innovative and exciting. Not all bands can truly say that!<\/p>\n
