The Australian band Assaulter makes a cross between Black and Thrash metal. They released their album \u201cSalvation Like Destruction\u201d via Pulverised Records.
\n
\nFirst thing that came to mind when hearing this album was the thought that a beat boxer went nuts. The guitars sound exactly like that. Drums are rarely creative. The buzzing can drive you nuts. Put this on when having a heavy hangover and you surely find yourself trying to hang yourself. The buzzing tone is killing.
\nFinally in the third song the guitars start come in more leading. This track called \u201cGlory Alone\u201d is one that stick out most, since it is epic and has some differences with the other ones.
\nOn \u201cProselytiser\u201d the thrash elements come forward and the instrumental parts become more interesting. I start thinking that the first two songs of this album could have fallen off for a better overall result.<\/p>\n

The production of this album could have been a bit thicker. I can\u2019t stop thinking of this album as a bit messy. Probably not one to keep on listening.<\/p>\n
