\u00a0 Tonight was not a usual gig, but a Album release gig, which means a shorter
\n\u00a0 performance and most of the song were from the new album.
\n\u00a0 The band who has their new album released on 15.08.07 was Naked and the new
\n\u00a0 album is called “Superstate” and the venue where it all happened was
\n\u00a0 Kuudes Linja in Helsinki.<\/p>\n

Naked vouches for high-energy, confetti-blasting, shirt-ripping, sweat-dripping\u00a0Broadway Rock.<\/p>\n

Here’s a little more about the band:
\nInspired by bands such as KISS, Beatles, Thin Lizzy, The Who, Queen, Led Zeppelin\u00a0and Motown classics, NAKED was founded in Helsinki at the break of the new millennium.
\nWith two albums (\u2018This One Goes To Eleven\u2019, 2004 and \u2018Let\u2019s\u00a0Get Naked\u2026And Start A Revolution\u2019, 2006) recorded, NAKED released\u00a0two Finnish top-5 singles and played shows abroad in Italy, Germany and Russia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NAKED also supported The 69 Eyes on their tour of Finland in 2006.
\nStefan Lindfors (director of HIM-Funeral Of Hearts video) directed two NAKED-videos,
\nSister and Revolution. The latter was filmed with The Muff (singer) roaming\u00a0the streets of London in a straitjacket. In late 2006 NAKED\u2019s line-up was\u00a0finalised as bass monster Ilari was forced to join the band. Shortly after,
\nNAKED and producer Nick Triani plunged into the task of recording their strongest,
\npunkiest, wildest and ridiculously kick-ass album \u2018Superstate\u2019, due\u00a0 in August 2007. The first single \u2018No One\u2019s Perfect\u2019 supports\u00a0an epic, bombastic and pillow-biting sound, as well as keeping it real.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Anyways, as I said it was a Album release gig, therefore you could find stickers
\n\u00a0 of the new album and posters everywhere.
\n\u00a0 Kuudes Linja filled up slowly with the usual visitors of Naked gigs and the
\n\u00a0 ones that just always seem to be at Kuudes Linja.
\n\u00a0 As the band came on stage they reminded me of a typical Swedish rock band such
\n\u00a0 as Hardcore Superstar, Babylon Bombs or Gemini Five. Not only because of their
\n\u00a0 looks but also their sound. A really nice sound (and look) in my opinion. So
\n\u00a0 they started playing new songs and tried to get everybody moving along, who
\n\u00a0 ever didn’t got a personal invitation by the singer, meaning having him go up
\n\u00a0 to you and get you either singing, dancing or clapping. And it worked. The audience
\n\u00a0 seemed to like the new album as much as I did.
\n\u00a0 The band also played with the photographers by playing with the camera, really
\n\u00a0 nice I thought, if only the light had been a little bit better.
\n\u00a0 What really amazed me though was the NOT moving hair of the singer, it seemed
\n\u00a0 to stiff. I really wonder how much hairspray he needed to get it like that.
\n\u00a0 For some songs the band had a choreography where all three in the front (2 guitars
\n\u00a0 and a bass) did the same motions for the chorus. It looked almost professional
\n\u00a0 but really good. They should keep that up, it’s a funny idea.
\n\u00a0 In the middle of their performance they got Nick Triani (their producer) up
\n\u00a0 on stage to play the cowbells for a song. The funniest about that whole thing
\n\u00a0 was, though, the presents they had for him. Nick is a quite casual looking guy,
\n\u00a0 so they gave him eyeliner and hairspray.
\n\u00a0 Zack (guitar right) always had a fan going in front of him that his hair was
\n\u00a0 blowing all over in the wind of it.
\n\u00a0 During their last song they fired up a confetti canon with some glittery stuff
\n\u00a0 . The glitter was pouring down slowly and was shimmering in the red stage light.
\n\u00a0 A perfect closing for a nice performance.
\n\u00a0 But it wasn’t over yet, they came back for two more songs and the audience was
\n\u00a0 celebrating them really hard.<\/p>\n
