The three bands of this evening sold out the Melkweg venue in Amsterdam. Just after I finished my early dinner, the doors already open. It is an early show tonight.
\n<\/p>\n\n\n
Deadlock is the band that starts first. They are coming from Germany and in November 2008 they released their latest album called \u201cManifesto\u201d. The start of their performance was pretty much in darkness. A catchy industrial tune in the background and some dancing to announce that there will be partied! Unfortunately the sound started really bad, which made people walk away in the first song, but since most people did not feel like giving up a good spot in the sold out venue there were plenty enough who waited to see what will happen. The ones who left might felt betrayed by their first thoughts if they watch the show from the bar area since the band shows an active performance.<\/p>\n

It was a bit sad that the vocals of vocalist Sabine Weniger were not really loud, basically the sound was that soft that it was like missing out on it completely. A pity, since most people around me announced on forehand that they really could dig her voice in the music.
\nRecently, their bassist decided to leave the band. Therefore they took the bassist of Fear My Thoughts with them on the road, who did a great job.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

The Haunted is the second band of the evening. They are coming from Gothenburg, Sweden.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Peter Dolving often shows his emotions with the mimic on his face in between songs. He\u2019s playing drama, he\u2019s fun to watch. Add this with the Thrash\/Progressive metal and you do have something unique. The band has also some good interaction with the audience by this. They played a lot of songs that are known by the audience and they got some people singing along.<\/p>\n

At the end of their set, they played the song \u201cTrenches\u201d, which will be released with the new video soon.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

The last band of the evening was surely the one who attracted the most people: All That Remains. \u2018The melodic metalband set the tone from the start. As soon as their faces were seen the moshpit started, not to be closed before they left again. The band surely had a great time, while the audience responded on them. To mention are the several moments that their guitarists step forward and take their moments of ego and show of their skills. Also their female bassist Jeanne Sagan gets a lot of credits. She often appears to be very calm but knows how to play very well and impress the audience.
\nThe show was also filmed, so who knows where the video of this evening will show up.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
